There is also the National Trust property at Wallington Hall which is an interesting visitor attraction and close by trout fly fishing is available at nearby Sweethorpe Lough. You could also visit Hadrian’s Wall, steeped in history; there are 14 major Roman sites, forts and museums and countless milecastles and turrets to explore and also Kielder Water which offers many outdoor activities such as Pony Trekking, windsurfing, sailing and ferry trips.
